, : Monoterpene composition of needle oils of Pinus species. Journal of Chromatographic Science 16(7): 294-295

The needle oils of P. caribaea, P. elliottii, P. massoniana and P. merkusii were analysed by GLC. The main components of the oils were alpha -pinene (18-83%), beta -pinene (2-60%), and car-3-ene (6-20%), and the minor constituents included beta -phellandrene, myrcene, and limonene.
