Morphological, histological bacteriological and biochemical study of uterine involution (in the cow). Changes in the solubility of collagen

, : Morphological, histological bacteriological and biochemical study of uterine involution (in the cow). Changes in the solubility of collagen. Involution uterine : etude morphologique, histologique, bacteriologique et biochimique; le collagene: 51

Biopsy samples were taken from the endometrium of 41 cows on five occasions after calving: 10-14 h, 36-48 h, 3-4 d, 7-8 d and 30 d later; the soluble collagen content of the samples was estimated by a hydroxyproline assay method. The repeated biopsies apparently caused no adverse effects on the cows' reproductive capacity.

The Schistosoma japonicum homologue of the 62 kDa fragment of S. mansoni myosin (SmIrV-5) was cloned and expressed as the full length 62 kDa equivalent, Sj62, and a truncated 44 kDa version, Sj44. DNA sequencing showed the Sj62 sequence to be 88.4...
