Coccidia were found in 72 of 206 Clethrionomys glareolus and in 25 of 112 Apodemus flavicollis in the Kamsa nature reserve, near Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR. Eimeria apodemi and E. apionodes were the most frequent of the 8 coccidians found in A. flavicollis. E. kaunensis n.sp. found in 2 of these animals is described and figured.
