The first edition, two years ago drew attention to the impact of modern farming practice on the appearance of lowland Britain, including a warning on the rapid deterioration of landscape. Progress since then is reported including the establishment of ten demonstration farms to show farmers and landowners how conservation of landscape, wildlife and archaelogical features can be achieved alongside profitable farming.
