Palynological analysis of species from the Briza complex (Gramineae)

, : Palynological analysis of species from the Briza complex (Gramineae). Ciencia e Cultura 31(7, Suplemento): 577

Pollen data for nine species and five varieties from South America and one introduced Euroasiatic species indicated that (1) B. rufa var. rufa and var. sparsipilosa differ significantly from each other; (2) B. bidentata should not be excluded from the complex, as suggested by Matthei; and (3) there is no justification for separating the South American species into three genera, following Matthei.
