Poverty, development, and health policy

, : Poverty, development, and health policy. Public Health Papers: 7-109

This book is written primarily for senior health administrators and teachers of health personnel in developing countries to assist them in participating in national planning of rural development aimed at the relief of poverty and to show more detailed implications of such planning on health services. Attempts to link the provision of health services with increases in industrial productivity are often unhelpful, and it is better to adopt wider, non-economic criteria.
