Protection of celery from leafminers with permethrin

, : Protection of celery from leafminers with permethrin. Proceedings of the Florida State Horticultural Society 1979; 91: 267-271

In field trials, a single permethrin application had little effect on Liriomyza sativae populations on celery. Used repeatedly (0.05, 0.1 or 0.2 lb/acre) permethrin resulted in fewer miners/plant than with the untreated controls or the standard oxamyl treatment at 0.5 lb/acre.
