Studies on the possibility of using total herbicides before planting perennial crops

, : Studies on the possibility of using total herbicides before planting perennial crops. Zastita Bilja 30(1)(147): 97-103

In a series of trials Hyvar (bromacil) at 15-30 kg/ha gave good weed control, and of the many top and small fruits and vines planted 8 months after application peaches were the least sensitive to the herbicide. It was safe to plant 1-year-old peach trees 8-10 months after the 30 kg/ha treatment, but for other crops, especially apples on various rootstocks, the 15 kg/ha rate was safer.
