Data were collected on 12 and 16 calves representing the (1/2 AA-1/2 Korean) X (1/2 HF-1/4 AA-1/4 Korean) cross and its reciprocal. Birth weight averaged 31.73 and 28.57 kg in the 2 crosses resp., and 6-mth weight 199.98 and 160.36 kg, differences being non-significant.
