The milk yield of cows naturally infected with Fasciola hepatica in the Belorussian SSR was compared for 5 days before and 7 days after treatment with hexachloroparaxylene at 0.3 g/kg body-weight (group one, 15 cows) or Dertil B at 0.003 g/kg (group 2). Group one cows produced 84.0 kg more milk after than before treatment.
