The helminth fauna of Syrian cattle


, : The helminth fauna of Syrian cattle. Angewandte Parasitologie 20(1): 11-16

The abomasa and small intestines of 34 cattle and the large intestines of 4 other cattle were examined at the slaughter house in Damascus, Syria. 91.2% had parasites in the abomasum or small intestine; on average there were more worms in the former than in the latter. 3 abomasa and 2 small intestines were intensely infected; :therwise infections were small or medium. 14 kinds of nematodes were found.
