Treatment with herbicides Burex (5 kg/ha) or Venzar (1 kg/ha) did not reduce soil nematode populations or biomass. The herbicides were successful, however, in controlling nematodes in vineyards. Of the granulated pesticides Furadan was most effective in reducing nematode populations.
