The use of Neoaplectana carpocapsae agriotos to control flies

, : The use of Neoaplectana carpocapsae agriotos to control flies. Soobshcheniya Akademii Nauk Gruzinskoi SSR 93(2): 461-463

Studies were carried out in the USSR to determine the possibility of using the nematode Neoaplectana carpocapsae agriotos to control species of Diptera developing in cattle manure. The nematode was found to have an insecticidal effect on the pre-adult stages of some of the fly species when applied at a rate of 500 nematodes/g body weight. The possibility of controlling fly larvae in cattle manure with Neoaplectana carpocapsae agriotos was studied.
