A further study on the isolation and culture of rice (Oryza sativa L.) protoplasts

, : A further study on the isolation and culture of rice (Oryza sativa L.) protoplasts. Proceedings of symposium on plant tissue culture: 317-323

The main conclusions from this work are: (1) protoplasts isolated from suspension culture are better in quantity and quality than those isolated from callus, and (2) ammonium sulphate appears to influence the growth of callus tissues in rotary culture.
