A general equilibrium approach to agricultural economics

, : A general equilibrium approach to agricultural economics. Journal of Rural Development, Korea 3(1): 11-25

The article attempts to broaden the scope of agricultural economic analysis to the extent that the general equilibrium approach is needed to decide how relative prices and relative incomes are determined between agricultural and non-agricultural sectors, or what effects the change in agricultural output has on change in the general price level and vice versa. The article is particularly concerned with the search for a comprehensive model of intersectoral trade and finance.
