A generation contract with the Sahelian countries

, : A generation contract with the Sahelian countries. Afrique Agriculture (41): 30-31

The Club du Sahel was formed in 1976 as a forum in which representatives of Sahelian countries could discuss their plans for development with representatives of countries and organizations interested in participating in that development. It has worked hand-in-hand with the Inter-Nation Committee for the Struggle Against Drought in the Sahel (CILSS) to find a solution to the numerous problems posed by development of the Sahel.
