A geochemical and isotopic approach to recharge evaluation in semi-arid zones

, : A geochemical and isotopic approach to recharge evaluation in semi-arid zones. Arid Zone Hydrology: Investigations with Isotope Techniques: 47-68

The magnitude of any recharge to aquifers in semi-arid zones is the principal uncertainty in estimating a water balance. Recent studies in Cyprus and Libyan Arab Jamahiriya currently being used to demonstrate the application of geochemical and isotopic techniques to the determination of both current and palaeo-recharge.
