Buitink, W.J., 1982: A good cyclone controls the wind. Landbouwmechanisatie 33(7): 653-655
A cyclone was developed to reduce dust and losses when extracting material from tower silos. The cyclone has a 2.00 m diam, a 1.00 m high cylindrical section and a 2.00 m long cone. The upper edge of the cyclone is covered with a plate with perforations of 10 mm diam. The cyclone walls are smooth and the intake pipe is attached directly to the cyclone.
