The neurites within the retinal layer are divided into two layers namely; an anterior thick and posterior thin. The choroidal layer is clearly divided into two laminae, an anterior choroidal lamina and a posteroir scleral lamina. The scleral layer consists of connective tissue fibre strands of collagenous and elastic types.
