A holographic technique with computer aided analysis for the measurement of wear

, : A holographic technique with computer aided analysis for the measurement of wear. Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments 13(7): 741-746

A technique is described which utilises the three dimensional information contained in photographs of contour fringed holographic images of surfaces to determine the volume change of a body due to wear. The contour fringes are produced on the holographic image of a surface by dual index holographic contouring.
