Ovaritropin (purified PMSG) was administered to 200 cows with hypofunction or hypoplasia of ovaries (3000-3500 IU per female ), persistent corpus luteum (3500 IU per female ), ovarian cysts (3000-3500 IU per female ), climatic anaphrodisia (2500-3000 IU per female ) or anovulatory cycles (2500-3000 IU per female ). Unpurified PMS was used in similar groups of controls. The treatment resulted in the CRs of 68.3-76.0% in cows given Ovaritropin vs. 43.5-58.5% in cows given PMS.
