A hundred years after Laveran: malaria in Paris. II. The accused, indigenous Anopheles mosquitoes

, : A hundred years after Laveran: malaria in Paris. II. The accused, indigenous Anopheles mosquitoes. Cahiers ORSTOM, Entomologie Medicale et Patasitologie 18: 179

Notes are given on entomological investigations undertaken in 1979 on possible mosquito breeding sites near Orly and Roissy airports in France, in order to determine whether indigenous or accidentally imported mosquitoes were responsible for the cases of malaria reported in the Paris district (see preceding abstract). Near Orly, no Anopheles larvae were found in any of the sites that appeared suitable.
