A hybrid drip-surface irrigation system

, : A hybrid drip-surface irrigation system. ASAE Paper (81-2556): 22 pp

A method of irrigation that combines aspects of drip and furrow methods is suggested. Emitters much larger than those in conventional drip irrigation, with larger flow rates and velocities, reduce emitter clogging and the need for filtration. Furrows are used to convey water from the emitters to the plants.
