Ewoplus, a whey product containing lactosylurea (LU) can be manufactured from liquid whey (6% DM), concentrated whey or whey permeate obtained by ultrafiltration. That made from liquid whey can be used only for liquid systems, whereas that made from concentrated whey can be used in liquid feed or can be added as an ingredient for concentrate during manufacture.
