Eupteryx atropunctata (Goeze) is recorded for the first time in the USA; it was collected in July 1979 on Phaseolus vulgaris in a garden at Willimantic, Windham County, Connecticut. This leafhopper is widespread in southern Ontario and southern Quebec in Canada, and in European countries.
