A linear programming approach to the formation of an intradifferentiated system of agricultural prices

, : A linear programming approach to the formation of an intradifferentiated system of agricultural prices. Ikonomicheska Misul 27(4): 85-98

This paper suggests a linear programming approach to the problem of the formation of internal "accounting" prices in agriculture. It is argued that the latter contribute to harmonizing the interests of the system with each of its divisions, as they guarantee equal or any desirable ex-ante specified level of rentability for the divisions; the implemention of the optimal plan yields a gross product for the whole system equal to that calculated with actual prices.
