A logarithmic curvilinear model for synthesizing hourly temperatures from daily maximum and minimum values

, : A logarithmic curvilinear model for synthesizing hourly temperatures from daily maximum and minimum values. Agronomy Abstracts 73rd annual meeting, American Society of Agronomy: 9-10

Hourly values of temp. throughout the growing season are necessary inputs for many agricultural crop models, but such detailed data are only available for a limited number of locations, while max. and min. temp. are routinely recorded. A simple logarithmic curvilinear model with constant coeff. was developed which yields estimates of hourly temp. for any location where daily max. and min. temp. are recorded.
