A long-term trial with monolinuron- under field conditions

, : A long-term trial with monolinuron- under field conditions. Chemosphere 10(2): 147-152

Several crops were grown on soil treated under field conditions with 14C-labelled monolinuron at a rate corresponding to 2.5 kg/ha. Scintillation counts carried out in soil samples over 5 years showed that, though radioactivity decreased with increasing depth and with time and despite the fact that 60% of the total label applied had disappeared by vaporization during the first year, 10-15% of the applied amount remained in the soil at the time of the last assessment.
