A comprehensive survey and evaluation of developments in consumption of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages i.e. per caput consumption and expenditure for different beverages in 1970-1978 in the GFR is presented. There was a total increase in consumption of 1.7% in 1978 compared with 1977.
