A low-cost, compact data acquisition system for recording visible and infrared reflection from barley crop canopies

, : A low-cost, compact data acquisition system for recording visible and infrared reflection from barley crop canopies. Miscellaneous Publication, Agricultural Experiment Station, University of Minnesota (7): 71-75

A multi-band radiometer and data acquisition system were constructed to measure and record the spectral quality of reflected sunlight from the canopies of barley crops. The wavelengths studied were 0.5-0.9 mu m at 0.05 mu m intervals. Differences in reflection caused by using different and foliar fungicide treatments were measurable at various plant development stages.
