When glasshouse chrysanthemums were grown in winter at night temperatures of 6 deg , 10 deg , 14 deg and 17 deg C (each combined with a day temperature of 17 deg ), the average vase life of the February-harvested flowers was 29, 28, 26 and 25 days, respectively.
