A machine for slurry injection in grassland

, : A machine for slurry injection in grassland. Landbouwmechanisatie 33(5): 439-441

The machine comprises a 6m3 tractor drawn tanker with a hinged injector on a chassis supported by a single axle. Under the tank is a 1600 l/min worm gear pump which fills, stirs and pumps the slurry via a tube into the distribution beam. This has cross-section 12x12 cm, is 275 cm long and is connected by 6 plastic pipes to the injectors. A furrow opener with a 20 cm ducksfoot share makes a horizontal opening for the injection. There is an indicator in the tractor for slurry blockages.
