A mathematical model for the heat energy balance of livestock buildings

, : A mathematical model for the heat energy balance of livestock buildings. Grundlagen der Landtechnik 30(5): 170-174

The optimum temp. inside a livestock building can be achieved not only by heating but also by insulation and other measures. To evaluate which combination of such measures will have the required effect at minimum cost, it is essential to determine the thermal energy balance, bearing in mind the annual variation of the ambient air temp. (frequency distribution).
