A mathematical model of the shape of corn leaves

, : A mathematical model of the shape of corn leaves. Canadian Journal of Plant Science 61(4): 1009-1011

A mathematical model was developed to predict leaf width at any distance from the tip of a maize leaf, using max. length, max. width and 2 experimentally derived constants in a modified sine equation.
