The drying rate of granular material passed through a UHF electro-magnetic field and simultaneously ventilated with air at a temperature of 8-25 deg C flowing at 5-10 m/s is limited by the low relative speed of the air stream, which is restricted by the velocity at which the granular materials eddy.
