A mechanical collecting fence for milking parlours

A collecting fence was developed for driving cows into the parlour for milking. It is driven by an electric motor and is automatically set in motion at a speed of 2 m/min when the entrance to the parlour opens. When it reaches the end of the rectangular collecting yard, it is automatically stopped by means of a time switch.
