A method for measuring biopotentials of leaf cells of intact higher plants

, : A method for measuring biopotentials of leaf cells of intact higher plants. Izvestiya Akademii nauk Azerbaidzhanskoi SSR, Biologicheskikh Nauk (3): 22-25

The method of microelectrode measurements of trans-membrane potential in leaf cells of intact plants of wheat and maize is described. Measurements were made of the potential difference between cell vacuole and pipe water used to wash the plant roots. Introduction of a microelectrode into the cell was accomplished using micromanipulator 'PM'.
