A method for the artificial infection of cocksfoot with spores of Erysiphe graminis DC

, : A method for the artificial infection of cocksfoot with spores of Erysiphe graminis DC. Biuletyn Instytutu Hodowli i Aklimatyzacji Roslin (142): 35

Three to four-week-old seedlings are infected with conidia by shaking over them the leaves of a severely infected plant. The seedlings are then kept damp and warm and, after 16 days, plants still healthy are reinoculated. Those which still escape infection are planted out and their progenies subjected to the same test procedure.
