A method for the physical and chemical fractionation of soil aggregates. Possible origins of the organic matter in the resulting fractions

, : A method for the physical and chemical fractionation of soil aggregates. Possible origins of the organic matter in the resulting fractions. Comptes Rendus Hebdomadaires des Seances de l' Academie des Sciences, D 291(4): 381-384

A non-destructive method is proposed for the physical separation of aggregates of different sizes by shaking in water (35 g/200 ml), followed by chemical dissociation by shaking (8 g/100 ml) in sodium pyrophosphate solution at pH 11.
