, : A method of estimating the varietal resistance of peach to Clasterosporium disease from the state of the branches. Sel' skokhozyaistvennaya Biologiya 17(4): 566-568

The method described for assessing resistance to C. carpophilum is based on number of lesions, infection index and total infection on branches. These characteristics are well marked on branches 3-5 yr old and remain constant throughout the season.
