A method of preparing antisera to spore polysaccharide antigens of some agents of fusariotoxicoses for the immunofluorescence reaction

, : A method of preparing antisera to spore polysaccharide antigens of some agents of fusariotoxicoses for the immunofluorescence reaction. Sbornik Nauchnykh Trudov Moskovskoi Veterinarnoi Akademii 116: 99-100

In studies with Fusarium moniliforme var. lactis and F. sporotrichiella var. sporotrichioides the fungi were grown for 15 days at 25 deg C. Conidia were washed with a 0.85% sodium chloride solution and treated with ultrasonic waves to destroy spores. Polysaccharide antigens were isolated from the conidial extracts by Fukui & Yasuda's method. Rabbits were immunized by injecting the antigen X4 in each of 4 cycles.
