A method to indicate leaching of TCA during field conditions

, : A method to indicate leaching of TCA during field conditions. Weeds and Weed Control 22nd Swedish Weed Conference, Uppsala, 1981 (1. Reports): 129-132

Because of its high solubility in water and weak adsorption to clay and humus, TCA moves readily in soil and may possibly contaminate ground water in certain soil types. A method of detecting the depth of TCA transport under field conditions is described; it makes use of the known adaptation of some microorganisms to the presence of TCA, enabling them to metabolize the herbicide.
