, : A study on the nutritive value of barley malt sprouts for lactating buffaloes. Journal of Agricultural Research, Pakistan 15(1): 51-59

In a 4 X 4 Latin square design trial with 20 day periods 4 buffaloes were given either a control feed containing undecorticated cottonseed cake 51%, wheat straw 29% and molasses 30%, or feeds in which barley malt sprouts at 17, 34 or 51% replaced cottonseed cake. The experimental feeds were given according to milk yield; the maintenance diet consisted of green roughage and straw.
