An evaluation study of the ZTA training farm

, : An evaluation study of the ZTA training farm. Zimbabwe Agricultural Journal 78(2): 59-61

The Tobacco Training Institute at Blackfordby Farm, run by the Zimbabwe Tobacco Association, is evaluated in terms of the available literature and experience elsewhere. The tobacco reaping course for reaping supervisors was examined in greater detail. The course produced a significant change in their knowledge and skills, which was still retained one year after the course. The skills of the reapers they supervised also improved, indicating that most skills had been effectively imparted.
