Ecological analysis of populations of armoured mites (Sarcoptiformes, Oribatei) in nests of ants of the genus Formica L. of the Krasnoyarsk forest steppe

, : Ecological analysis of populations of armoured mites (Sarcoptiformes, Oribatei) in nests of ants of the genus Formica L. of the Krasnoyarsk forest steppe. Trudy Biologicheskogo Instituta, Sibirskoe Otdelenie, Akademiya Nauk SSSR (42): 205-224

A study was carried out in the Krasnoyarsk forest steppe in Siberia, USSR, in the summer of 1976 on the ecology of populations of oribatid mites in the nests of ants of the genus Formica. Various types of colonisation of the nests of F. rufa L. and F. polyctena Forst. were established according to their position in the forest.
