Economic and organizational problems of milk production in selected large-scale farms in Eastern Slovakia

, : Economic and organizational problems of milk production in selected large-scale farms in Eastern Slovakia. Acta Operativo Oeconomica 35: 333-347

This further study of organizational and economic problems of large-scale dairy farming (see also preceding abstr.) examines the effects which new technology and high livestock concentrations had on organization of work and economics of milk production in 7 farms in Slovakia, based on results for 1976 and 1977. Of the 7 farms, 5 used cubicle loose-housing systems (for 320-360 cows) with 2 X 5 herringbone milking parlours.
