Effects of herbicides Reglone and Gramoxone upon haematological indices in Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica)

, : Effects of herbicides Reglone and Gramoxone upon haematological indices in Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica). Acta Universitatis Agriculturae Brno, Facultas Agronomica, A 29(1/2): 319-326

Blood samples were taken from Japanese quail after 10-day administration of Reglone (diquat 20%) and Gramoxone (paraquat) at 0.5% and 5% in the drinking water, and again after 7 and 21 days with normal drinking water. All the experimental groups consumed less water than the controls and with 50% Gramoxone the quail died on the 8th day.
