Entomophagous species in integrated pest control

, : Entomophagous species in integrated pest control. Bollettino di Zoologia 47(3/4): 409-417

In this contribution to a symposium on applied zoology that was held at Bergamo in northern Italy in September 1979, the entomophagous arthropods useful in forestry and in the main agricultural ecosystems in Italy and elsewhere (such as plantations of citrus, apple, pear, olive, peach, hazel, grapevine, cotton, cereals, and glasshouse vegetable crops, on each of which the pests and their indigenous and introduced natural enemies are listed) are briefly discussed, as well as the main aspects of integrated pest control and its organisation on a large scale.
