Environmental impacts of the utilization of solar biomass

, : Environmental impacts of the utilization of solar biomass. Changing Energy Use Futures; Proceedings of the Second International Conference on Energy Use Management, October 22-26, 1979, Los Angeles, California R A Fazzolare and B Smith, Editors (Vol. 2): 535-543

Recent studies on the potential for environmental impact by biomass energy technologies are reviewed and a framework for a national program of biomass energy environmental research is outlined. Although there has been considerable research on environmental impacts of intensive agriculture, silviculture, and urban waste energy technology most of this information has not yet been applied to biomass energy technologies.
