Evaluation of late ripening germplasm of ber (Zizyphus mauritiana Lamk) under semi-arid regions

, : Evaluation of late ripening germplasm of ber (Zizyphus mauritiana Lamk) under semi-arid regions. Haryana Journal of Horticultural Sciences 9(1/2): 12-16

Eight-year-old trees of 8 ber cvs were studied for branching habit, leaf characteristics, fruit ripening time, shape, appearance, colour, length, width, yield and chemical composition. The data are tabulated. The 2 highest yielding cvs were Umran (195 kg/tree) and Katha Bombay (180 kg/tree).
